Always keep in mind that people believe what they want to believe. Therefore, in a free society, lots of crazy stuff is circulating and some of it is believed. Let's look at Ukraine. Some Americans are convinced that a "no-fly zone" should be imposed on Russian planes over Ukraine. But who would enforce the zone and shoot at Russian planes that violated it?
