John,

At the latest Presidential debate, a whopping *zero* questions were asked
about the climate crisis.

This is unacceptable. The climate crisis is the defining issue of our
times — and voters deserve the opportunity to learn about candidates’
climate plans in depth. With just a decade left to drastically slash
emissions and avert the worst of the climate crisis, climate has to be
front and center in this election.

[ [link removed] ]Take action now: Tell MSNBC they must ask candidates for their plans to
address the climate crisis at the next debate this Wednesday, Nov 20th.

The presidential debates are important opportunities for everyday voters
to learn more about the candidates. They also create opportunities for our
movement to push the envelope on climate action and pressure our
candidates to develop even better policies.

Many of the candidates running in this election have already released
thorough climate plans — and we need more opportunities to compare them
side-by-side in the public eye so that all voters can be informed about
the challenges of the climate crisis and the opportunities to implement
just and equitable solutions.

We only have until the day after tomorrow to make our voices heard, so act
now.

the attention it deserves.

With your help, we can ensure that candidates are asked to tell the
American people their plans not just to deeply reduce carbon emissions,
but to create millions of good union jobs, and strengthen low-income
communities and communities of color facing the worst effects of the
climate crisis.

Let’s do this,

Clarissa
