Friend,

I’m thrilled to let you know that we’re making history with marijuana justice in Congress. In an unprecedented move, the House Judiciary Committee will vote on the MORE Act this Wednesday.

This is monumental! With your help, we made the MORE Act the most far-reaching marijuana legalization bill ever introduced – and now it’s the only bill of its kind to advance this far at the federal level.

Help us seize the moment. Tell your Members of Congress to support and move the MORE Act forward to end the federal war on marijuana and repair the harms of prohibition. [link removed]

Marijuana prohibition is destroying lives and disproportionately harming Black and Brown people and low-income communities.

Now we have a real chance to change that with the Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement (MORE) Act, a powerful step toward righting the wrongs of prohibition and advancing marijuana justice for all.

The MORE Act would de-schedule marijuana and end federal prohibition in a fair way by reinvesting marijuana tax revenue in those who have been most affected by failed marijuana laws. It would also support equitable licensing, prevent deportation and provide for federal resentencing and expungement for marijuana cases.

It’s groundbreaking legislation. It goes further than any other federal marijuana bill in history by helping repair the destruction from prohibition and ensuring reparative justice and equity in legalization. And with an historic committee vote this Wednesday, you can help us take this crucial bill even further.

Contact your lawmakers right away: tell them to keep moving the MORE Act forward in Congress. [link removed]

Thanks to you, we’re closer than ever to ending federal marijuana prohibition. We’re moving marijuana legalization legislation forward in Congress for the first time ever. But this is just the first step.

Take action so we can take the next step in the fight for marijuana legalization – and justice – across the country. [link removed]
