Folks,

As we are halfway through March, which is Women’s History Month, I wanted to take the time to highlight some of the special women in my life to this day. I would be nowhere without any of these women, and therefore I think it’s fitting to give thanks.

When I get to Congress, I plan to fight to ensure gender equality in honor of the women in my life, and women everywhere, who inspire me. Will you help me get there?

My story starts with the woman who took a chance on a kid who no one wanted. Virginia Ramirez, the woman who adopted me, brought me into her family with open arms. Through her, I was able to embrace my Hispanic and Native American heritage.

Without my adopted mother, I do not know where I would be. She truly saved my life.

As a special thanks to Virginia, I want to give back in the best way- Getting to Congress. But I can’t do it without you.

Help me make my mom proud and chip in whatever you’ve got to help me get to Congress!
