Today is the 14th of the month, so here are 14 ridiculous things the GOP candidates in the Ohio Senate race have said and done:

1. Josh Mandel said the 2020 election was “stolen” from Donald Trump.

2. Mandel called for a “November 3rd Commission.”

3. J.D. Vance said objections to the 2020 election certification were the “right thing” to do.

4. Vance lied about 2020 election fraud.

5. Jane Timken said the January 6th insurrectionists were “good, patriotic Americans.”

6. Mandel called himself Trump’s “number one ally in Ohio.”

7. Timken hired former Trump staffers Kellyanne Conway and Corey Lewandowski.

8. Vance was endorsed by Marjorie Taylor Greene.

9. Multimillionaire Mike Gibbons poured over $11 million into his campaign.

10. Vance said, “Our country is kind of a joke.”

11. Mandel proposed ending early voting and getting rid of voting machines.

12. Vance suggested sending the U.S. military to invade Mexico.

13. Vance said, “I’m sick of being told that we have to care… about people 6,000 miles away.”

14. Vance has tech billionaire Peter Thiel dumping millions of dollars into a super PAC supporting his campaign.
