As a mathematician and physicist – 3/14 is one of my favorite dates of the year:

Happy Pi Day!

But while pi may go on forever and ever, March does not – and as of right now we’re only halfway to meeting our monthly fundraising goal.

Can you send a quick donation of $3.14 to help our campaign hit its goal before the critical end-of-quarter deadline?

This Pi Day, it feels more important than ever to make this clear: If elected Governor of Arkansas, you can always count on me to lead with the truth – math, science, and real-life experiences of Arkansans.

For as long as I can remember I've been fascinated by science. It merges imagination with facts to innovate and expand what we believe is possible.

Growing up, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to dive into my education and even pursue extracurricular STEM classes. And then, I was awarded a life-changing scholarship from NASA – without that money, higher education could have been out of the picture for me.

During my time at Morehouse, NASA, and MIT, I collaborated with some of the best and brightest minds in the industry. I’m grateful to have been able to have these experiences, and I want to ensure that the next generation of kids in Arkansas have access to the same opportunities I did.

Right now, Arkansas’ youth are falling through the cracks. Any kid in any classroom in Arkansas could be the next engineer, physicist, or astronaut — but so many still face barriers to success.

So I’m in this race because Arkansas needs a leader who is willing to listen to the science and follow solutions backed by data – from universal pre-K to expanding broadband – that will propel our state forward.

And I’m asking for your help to make this a winning campaign. It’s as simple as 3.141592653589… Will you click below to chip in before the end-of-quarter deadline and help our grassroots movement?
