"Buy me a jet."

That's what shameless Donald Trump essentially emailed his supporters after his private plane had to make an emergency landing recently. Yes, the self-professed "billionaire" wasted no time asking his followers to fund a new "Trump Force One."

Such self-serving con-artistry brings to mind crooked televangelists, so it should come as no surprise that the leader of the Trump Cult would take a page out of their playbook. It seems that whenever Donald Trump, Tucker Carlson, and their acolytes aren't defending Russia, they're trying to bilk someone out of their last dollar. "Zero Shame" is the name of their game.

Contrast that with TRUE leaders who are working to help the Ukrainian people save their country and democracy.  America is quantifiably the most generous country in the world; stepping up to help is in our national DNA. And our leaders should appeal to the best in us, not the worst.
