Friends -
It's been a busy start to 2022 with Mandela hitting the campaign trail all across the state of Wisconsin. So we wanted to share some of our favorite photos with you.
WAUSAU
In Wausau, Mandela met with a group of small business owners. He also spoke with labor leaders at the Wausau Labor Temple and went on a tour of the Wausau Coated Inc. Factory.

MADISON
Mandela sat down with small business owners in Madison to talk about the unique challenges that minority-owned businesses have faced – both before, and during, the pandemic, and how we can use this moment of recovery to address these issues head on.

EAU CLAIRE
When Mandela spoke with small business owners in Eau Claire, he heard from a veteran starting up a business, a mom who owns a child care center, and farmers who are competing against factory farms. These are stories he will bring with him to the Senate and make sure are heard.

He also visited with Jeff, the owner of Peck Farms, and Danielle from the Wisconsin Farmers Union. And he stopped by the office of the Eau Claire County Democratic Party.

OSKHOSH
As the son of a UAW member, it was very important to Mandela to stand in solidarity with UAW workers by attending a rally demanding the new USPS trucks be built right here in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

GREEN BAY
In Green Bay, Mandela met with Mayor Eric Genrich and students from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College enrolled in programs from early childhood education to dairy science. Afterward, he toured NWTC’s Trade and Engineering facilities. All of these programs create opportunities for students from all walks of life and show how critical 2-year and technical colleges are in Wisconsin.

Then Mandela stopped by the YWCA in Green Bay, where they offer a workforce development program, child care center, workout classes in English and Spanish, and even a Women’s Career Closet – if you have any clothing to donate, please do!
