Sled Dog Racing: Open North American Championships

The Open North American Championships for dog mushing is slated for this weekend, from March 18th-20th, in Fairbanks. The event is the longest continuously run sled dog race in the world, celebrating its 76th anniversary this year. The three-day race series kicks off at 1pm on the 18th, with each day hosting a 20+ mile race.
