A lot.

Justice Democrats

John,

Democrats in Congress have failed to pass major legislation to expand Medicare, address the climate crisis, or raise the minimum wage to at least $15. President Biden has not used his executive power to cancel student loan debt or drastically improve our immigration system.

There is no excuse for these failures. And with the upcoming midterm elections, Democrats are in danger of losing our majorities in Congress.

So, John, we want to hear from you today about what you think is most pressing for Democrats to do right now, before it’s too late. Can you take just two minutes for our survey?

Democrats passed an expanded Child Tax Credit last year to reduce child poverty. Then, they let the expanded tax credit expire and poverty spiked. Democrats increased subsidies available to some under the Affordable Care Act last year. But those will expire at the end of this year, just before Republicans could move into control of Congress.

We know that incremental, temporary measures are not enough. We need to pass Build Back Better and fight for Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, student debt cancellation, immigrant justice, and so much more.

Can you let us know what’s most important to you that Democrats have failed to deliver on? It’ll only take two minutes of your time.

In solidarity,

Justice Democrats
