Dear Fellow Patriot - I don’t do this often. My husband Dan Crenshaw – the former Navy SEAL and Texas Congressman - is usually the one sending these emails. But today is a special day for me – it’s Dan’s 38th birthday and I want to surprise him. I’ve been with Dan since the beginning of his journey of service to our country – through five deployments as a Navy SEAL, through his life-altering injury in Afghanistan, and now as he fights for the issues that matter most to you in Congress. Even when Dan was deployed overseas, he would find a way to make my birthdays special. It might be a surprise party with old friends, a trip with my sister, or tickets to the set of Dancing With The Stars (one of my favorite shows). Whatever the surprise might be, he always puts in the thought to make each birthday wonderful and memorable in its own way. Dan brings that same dedication to his work in Congress. He’s a policy nerd who loves research and talking to every expert he can find. He doesn’t reach a conclusion on legislation until he understands it inside and out, always guided by the principles and moral foundation that America is built upon. And Dan cares deeply about bringing more young people into the Republican Party. Events like his annual youth summit attract thousands of high school and college students from across the country to learn from thought leaders like Jordan Peterson, Ben Shapiro, and Nikki Haley. Because Dan is a leader who comes to his own conclusions on the issues, without fear of challenging the status quo. No matter what, truth remains his North Star. He’s always going to do what’s right for our country. So, for Dan’s 38th birthday I want to show him how much support he has from all of us. I committed to raising $38,000 for Dan’s congressional campaign, and your contribution of $35, $50, $100, $250, $500, $1,000, $2,900, or some other amount will give Dan the resources he needs to grow our conservative movement. | | I hope you will consider joining our team today and supporting Dan’s mission. We will be proud and grateful to have you with us. Sincerely, Tara Crenshaw | | | | |
