Friend – five years ago, we started a conversation.
It's a conversation about what kind of country we can build if Congress listens to people, not PACs. About what kind of nation we can be if people of different political stripes spend more time talking to each other and less time talking about each other.
That conversation is still happening – and now that we have brand-new district lines, we've got 30,000 new voters to welcome into it.
So today, I'm humbly asking: Will you chip in $20 or another amount to keep the conversation going and create a model for what a winning congressional campaign can be?
Friend, I love this country. I believe it has endless potential. And I put my faith in grassroots donors like you to help me move it forward.
If you're curious about where your contribution is going, I get it. Here's a look at what we're budgeting for in the coming months:
- Printing postcards (and buying stamps) to welcome voters into the fold
- Hiring a staff of community organizers to talk with voters on the ground
- Working on digital outreach to meet more voters where they are (online)
I'm so grateful to every one of you who's made this campaign what it is. We're doing this without a dime from lobbyists or PACs – and your contributions, whether of time, input, or money, make me a better representative. If you've been thinking about chipping in, I hope you'll do so today.
With gratitude,
Dean
