VICTORY IN TEXAS: VENTON JONES ADVANCES TO A RUNOFF!

John,

I knew that as Victory Fund’s new Senior Director of Political Programs, I’d have to hit the ground running -- and I was right. It’s been a whirlwind of hiring, training and vetting. The truth is, we’re at capacity.

2022 is going to be a watershed year for LGBTQ candidates. We’ve endorsed over 200 LGBTQ candidates already -- we’ve never seen anything like it! But more candidates means more folks to vet, endorse and support. It means ensuring each of their campaigns has the staff and resources to win on Election Day. It means raising more money and investing in our press and communications capacity to uplift their voices.

That’s why we need you, John. I don’t want to refuse help to anyone for lack of funds -- our cause is too important. Donate today so we can support every single LGBTQ candidate who is viable and wants to make a difference!

I attended my first LGBTQ organizing event in New York in 1985. We’ve come such a long way since then, but there’s still so much further to go. Our community is still woefully underrepresented in politics, and without representation, it’s harder to stand up for ourselves. That’s why I’m so proud, now, to help LGBTQ candidates make their own history.

I have big ambitions for this year -- to elect LGBTQ governors, to send LGBTQ people to the U.S. Congress and to multiply our representatives in state and local office, including school boards. But like I said, we need you on our team. Our candidates are depending on you, and I don’t want to let them down.

Donate today to make 2022 a watershed year for LGBTQ candidates.

Thanks for chipping in,

Marty Rouse
