Our campaign is currently $13,000 short from where we need to be to reach our mid-month fundraising goal.
And during a critical end-of-quarter month like March — when political media and our GOP opponents will be waiting to see how our fundraising looks during the first months of 2022 — this is especially important.
Our team and Charles have been on the road in Kentucky for most of the year. And when we say that we can feel the excitement on the ground to turn Kentucky blue — we mean it.
The conversations we’re having with voters is the beginning of our work to unite our Commonwealth and make sure we finally send someone to the U.S. Senate who will fight for us.
But we know that if we want to win, we need to continue ramping up our voter outreach efforts, planning more trips like this, and make sure our people power is felt on Election Day. And from training volunteers, paying for gas, and running our political ads — there’s a lot of expenses ahead for our campaign.
On top of that, we need significant resources and funding to compete with the corporate PAC and special interest money that has protected Rand’s seat.
Rand raised nearly $4 million in the final quarter of 2021. His friends in Wall Street, Big Pharma, and the fossil fuel industry are ramping up their donations to make sure Rand stays in office.
We don’t need $4 million from fossil fuels or Big Pharma — because we have supporters like you. But that does make fundraising a bit more challenging, as we rely on donations from emails like this to make sure we have the funds we need to replace Rand Paul.
It’s going to take a powerful, grassroots funded movement to organize and mobilize enough folks to take back Kentucky’s seat at the table. That’s why we’re asking for your support right now. Please chip in $5 or anything you can if you want to see us run and help us reach our critical mid-month goal by Wednesday at midnight.
Thank you,
Team Booker
