Dear John, I hope this finds you well and smiling. I'm happy to tell you I'm doing both — spring is coming, and I've gotten my COVID vaccine booster shot. And with spring's arrival comes the People's World fund drive. Yes, it's that time of year again and I hope you will donate generously! All told, it's been a good year! Our movement has been growing steadily, and People's World has been in the thick of the fight, covering working-class and people's stories from strike picket lines to the front lines of the war in Ukraine. It's a unique product that the staff of People's World produces – a working-class daily news source written with you in mind, your struggles, your family, your community, and the world. This year our fund drive goal is $75,000 – that's the amount needed to stay in the black and keep People's World running. Yes, while our political prospects are brighter, unfortunately, because of the pandemic, our financial situation remains the same; then there's inflation. As a result, we're again calling on friends and readers to help prevent People's World from going into the red. We know times are tough for everyone, but whatever you can contribute to help achieve People's World fund drive goal is appreciated: no contribution is too big or too small.
