Friend,

From the bottom of my heart, I want to say thank you.

Trudi and I have three grandchildren, and I decided long ago that on my last day on earth, I want to be able to look them in the eye and say I did everything I could to protect them from the ravages of the climate crisis.

It's why I'm running. It's why I'm spending days, nights, weeks on the road away from them -- because they deserve a future that isn't fraught with fear and uncertainty. My family deserves it, and so does yours -- so does every American family and, frankly, every family across the world.

If we make this our national mission, we can save ourselves. We can save our children. We can save our grandchildren. We can literally save life on our planet -- because this is our moment.

We're going to make progress on this the same way we always have: Through support from grassroots efforts from folks like you. The ones who fight every day for a better life and a greener future.
