In a few moments, I’m going to ask you to make a donation to my campaign for U.S. Senate. All I need is a quick moment of your time to explain why this request is so important, especially today, as we approach our first FEC fundraising deadline on March 31:
Every three months, candidates for federal office are legally required to report their fundraising details to the Federal Election Commission. It’s a way of ensuring transparency in our elections. Shortly after, the amount of money we raised and the number of people who contributed to help are made public.
Republicans will be checking to see if we actually have what it takes to defeat Ron Johnson and flip Wisconsin’s Senate seat, and they’ll use our FEC report to verify that. Our race is expected to be the tipping point in this election, and they all know we’re in a strong position to win.
The Washington Post already reported that our campaign “could be the best chance to rid the Senate of Ron Johnson” and a recent poll showed I’m the only Democrat who can beat him. But he has more cash on hand than anyone in the race, and national Republicans have raised more than $200 million to take back the Senate.
So when all of our numbers go public for the first time this year, right-wing groups and special interests will try to find any point of vulnerability they can use against us. We can’t give them an opening to attack our campaign and block our momentum. That’s why I’m asking:
Will you add a contribution of $10 or more to my campaign for the United States Senate in Wisconsin? If we want to defeat Ron Johnson and flip this seat, then we need to report the strongest numbers possible on our first FEC report of 2022. Please chip in today.

The real power behind a winning campaign doesn’t come from a checkbook. It comes from a whole lot of people standing up for what’s right. For our campaign, that means tens of thousands of people giving small amounts of money to help us counter all the outside groups and corporate special interests who desperately want to keep Ron Johnson in Washington.
So long as you’re with me in this fight, I know we can take them on and get this Senate seat working for the people of Wisconsin. Thanks for standing with me every single day.
Forward!
