Here are some climate change related events we want to bring to your attention. Not all events are hosted by us, but we plan to attend as 350 Chicago members. We ask you to join us!

WHAT: Live episode of the The Climate Pod! The Climate Pod is a weekly podcast on environmental issues and climate news featuring activists, journalists, academics, politicians, and entertainers fighting for a better future. Guests have appeared in The New York Times, Rolling Stone, HBO, National Geographic, Mother Jones, and more. 350 Chicago will have a featured member on the panel of this show! In addition to our panelist, this event will present a night of more local leaders and comedians discussing the pressing issues Chicago faces as we combat climate change. November 20th from our friends at Indivisible:
WHAT: "Salon" on Climate Change and the Green New Deal. The speakers will be Demond Drummer of New Consensus (which has helped AOC and company frame up the Green New Deal), Isaac Larkin, a grad student at Northwestern University who was the person who cornered Joe Biden about taking fossil fuel money at the CNN climate change forum, and Dejah Powell, an organizer on the South Side for Sunrise Movement. The moderator will be Anne Evens of Elevate Energy.
