President Biden nominated Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to be the next Supreme Court justice and the first Black woman to ever serve on the court.
She's the daughter of a public school teacher, a former public defender, and a former clerk for Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer. Judge Jackson has the experience necessary for the job; she has shown a commitment to upholding justice, our values, and our Constitution; and she will bring experiences that have been lacking on the Court for far too long.
With the Supreme Court set to deliver decisions on everything from health care, to workers' rights, to voting rights, I’m confident Judge Jackson will stand up to corporations and protect the rights of Americans.
Will you join me, and show your support for Judge Jackson’s nomination to the Supreme Court?
With gratitude,
Sherrod
