Pundits are predicting a possible “red wave” in the midterms this year and my race is not immune: This year my seat was ranked in the top ten Senate seats most likely to flip, a poll showed me losing by 1% to a GOP opponent, and then my race was moved closer to a toss-up.

But this does not mean the sky is falling, because I’ve seen what this grassroots team is capable of.

Thanks to support from folks like you, I secured historic investments in repairing our bridges and roads that will create hundreds of thousands of jobs; banned surprise medical bills after medical emergencies to protect folks in their most vulnerable moments; and secured tax cuts for working families.

But all of that progress means this race will be an uphill battle, and the GOP knows this. That’s why the National GOP raised over $120 million this cycle.

They can use that warchest to fund attack ads distorting my record and bankroll my opponent. With your support, I know we can regain our footing in this race. That’s why I need to ask:
