In these challenging times, Cory stays optimistic by focusing on the progress we’ve made and the important work that lies ahead. With the 24-hour news cycle, it can be easy to miss everything we’ve done in just the last year.

From passing the American Rescue Plan to the historic Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, we gave Americans relief from the COVID-19 pandemic and invested over a trillion dollars to repair and rebuild our country’s roads, bridges, and rails, replace lead pipes, and clean our air and drinking water.

And thanks to President Biden’s leadership, over 200 million Americans are fully vaccinated and we recorded the highest yearly job growth in history.

That’s monumental.

What’s even more encouraging is that we can do so much more. We can tackle child poverty, address the climate crisis, reign in the cost of prescription drugs, reform our broken food system, and take action to forgive student debt. But we need to expand our Senate majority to do it.
