Friend,
This week is National Rural Hospital Week, a time to call attention to the Hospital Heroes who provide life-saving care to rural communities. Did you know that rural hospitals provide health care to more than 60 million Americans across 90% of the country? It's true -- and compared to their urban counterparts, rural hospitals face unique obstacles related to reaching communities and patients.
That's why we support S.2648, the Rural ACO Improvement Act, a vital piece of legislation that will ensure rural hospitals are rewarded for focusing on the quality of care they provide, while also reducing overall health care costs.

Tell the Senate: Support the Rural ACO Improvement Act >> [link removed]
The Rural ACO Improvement Act, introduced by Senators Catherine Cortez Masto of Nevada and Pat Roberts of Kansas, levels the playing field for rural hospitals across the country -- rewarding them for quality outcomes and reductions in cost, just like their urban counterparts.
It does so by adjusting some benchmarks for success to more accurately reflect the patient populations they serve.
We need your help to tell Congress to support patient care everywhere -- especially in underserved rural communities.
Send a letter to your Senators and urge them to support The Rural ACO Improvement Act. >> [link removed]
