As you may know, I grew up right here in Omaha. Here’s a picture of me as a little girl who had no idea she would be running for Congress one day:

I’m not a career politician; I’m an everyday person. I was raised by a single mom, I worked my way through college, and I was the first person in my family to graduate with a Bachelor's degree. I know what it’s like to work hard every single day — and now I’m ready to work every day for the people of Nebraska’s Second Congressional District.
