John,

After hearing reports of lawmakers trading stock in the early days of the pandemic, I took action. My bipartisan legislation to ban members of Congress and their spouses from trading stock shows the American people that lawmakers work for their constituents, not our portfolios.

My bill is receiving well-deserved attention, and I’m counting on your support so I can continue pushing it forward in Congress. Will you invest in my re-election campaign right now?

My commonsense reform would remove any perception of impropriety and affirm public trust in government. With bipartisan support, my bill is gaining traction and I am committed to seeing it become law.

With your support, I can continue advocating for ethical governance in Congress. Will you support my campaign today so I can continue leading on this issue?

Thankful, as always,
Abigail
