The Trump EPA has announced plans to weaken another environmental safeguard and allow 50% more atrazine, a toxic pesticide linked to cancer and birth defects, in our drinking water sources! Even though atrazine is BANNED in Europe, the U.S. allows more than 70 million pounds of this harmful chemical to be dumped on farm fields every year.

BREAKING: Trump EPA to allow 50% more cancer-linked pesticide in waterways

We need 4,768 to take our survey on toxic pesticides by 11:59 p.m. tonight to tell the EPA to protect our health!

Friend -

The Trump EPA has announced plans to weaken another environmental safeguard and allow 50% more atrazine, a toxic pesticide linked to cancer and birth defects, in our drinking water sources!

Even though atrazine is BANNED in Europe, the U.S. allows more than 70 million pounds of this harmful chemical to be dumped on farm fields every year.

The EPA’s own tests found that atrazine is often present in water supplies at levels so high it can change the gender of male tadpoles! For that reason, in 2016 the EPA had announced plans to lower allowable levels of atrazine in water.

But yet again the Trump EPA has ignored independent science and put pesticide industry profits WAY before public health. We can’t let them get away with it.

Can we count on you to stand with EWG and take our quick survey on toxic pesticides? Your response will help us formulate our plans to fight for your health, but we need 4,768 supporters to take a stand before 11:59 p.m tonight.

Are you concerned about atrazine, a pesticide so powerful it can turn male tadpoles into female frogs?

YES
NO

Thanks for your feedback, friend.
