Florida lawmakers passed the notorious “Don’t Say Gay” bill, which outlaws any mention of sexual orientation in schools. Kids with same-sex parents? Can’t mention them. Closeted gay kid? Forced to stay in the closet. Now the bill goes to Ron DeSantis to sign.

There are 15 similar proposals in nine states.

I refuse to go backwards on our rights. In Congress, I will fight for passage of the Equality Act, banning discrimination against same-sex couples who want to foster and adopt kids, banning conversion therapy, and more.
