This is pretty urgent, John – can I count on you?

I'm just hours away from my midnight fundraising deadline – but to hit my goal, I still need to raise another $8,500 before then. In a race this close, it's absolutely critical that we're hitting important benchmarks like this one. 

You see, from fighting for working families to holding Senate control, there's so much on the line here in Iowa. Mitch McConnell only needs to flip ONE seat to take back the Senate, meaning defeating vulnerable GOP senators like my opponent, Chuck Grassley, is critical to maintaining our majority and continuing to deliver for Americans.

Luckily, things here on the ground are looking good for Democrats – Iowans have had it with Sen. Grassley. He's facing record low approval ratings, and close to two-thirds of likely voters say they're ready for someone new. There's real momentum here – I can feel it – but to be honest with you, we're up against some powerful forces, John. 

The GOP Senate campaign arm has raised more than $100 MILLION to take back the Senate. Fox News has already attacked me – and Trump himself personally flew to Des Moines to endorse Sen. Grassley at a massive MAGA rally. With Iowans turning against Sen. Grassley like never before, the GOP is pulling out all the stops to defeat me and defend my opponent.

We can win in Iowa – the numbers don't lie – but we'll need massive grassroots resources to overcome GOP attacks and compete with spending by far-right megadonors.
