My name is Andrew and I am the Alexandra Hunt campaign's Field Director.

I am no fan of false-urgency political emails but I'm writing to you because we are currently facing a life or death moment for this campaign.

Right-wing PACs are dumping in hundreds of thousands of dollars to our opponent to bog us down in a costly legal fight where they will try to throw out every signature that they can to get us thrown off the ballot.

There are now only three days left to circulate nomination petitions for ballot access to our Democratic Primary this May and this weekend was supposed to be our massive final push to get 2000 more signatures to stave off this protracted legal battle.

The blizzard currently hitting Philadelphia just threw all of our plans out the window and has put us into a dire situation.

Team Hunt Canvassers soldier on despite the brutal conditions

Despite the blizzard, volunteer canvassers are coming in from across the city.

Our (snow) boots on the ground are braving snow, sleet, and rain to gather enough signatures to get Alexandra on the ballot but they need support.

We need to make sure we can compensate our staff for the massive overtime this situation is going to require of them, have warm meals waiting for our volunteers at the office, and on top of this do a massive text to eligible Philadelphia voters about how to sign the petition in light of the storm. It's not going to be cheap but it's what it will take to come out of this stronger than ever and with the signatures we need.
