Ohio is a purple state, and we can take back the AG seat this year
Friend,
In our Battleground Focus series this year, we’re combing through the most critical of the 30 AG races that are being contested this year. Close races can be decided by just a few thousand votes, and where we decide to invest our resources can make all the difference between winning and losing. We’re heading to the Buckeye State for our next installment.
Incumbent Republican AG Dave Yost has an awful track record of supporting dangerous voter suppression laws and suing the Biden Administration to close abortion clinics. We have a real chance to unseat AG Yost and replace him with a Democratic AG who will fight for local Ohio communities and preserve access to reproductive care.
Ohio has been closely contested at the state and federal levels over the past decade.
AG Yost only won his race by a few points in 2018 and this year's race is expected to be close again. Once we have the resources, we’ll be able to invest in grassroots organizing, voter outreach, and targeted digital ads that will help us win Ohio in November. We need you with us to make it happen.
Democratic AGs truly are “The People’s Lawyers” and DAGA is the only party committee devoted to electing more of them. Since 2016, we’ve won two-thirds of our targeted races, and with more than 30 AG seats up for grabs in 2022, we need your support – will you chip in today?
