I have some disappointing news. This Wednesday my lawsuit against Mo Brooks and others behind the violence on January 6th of last year was thrown out by a federal judge.

Brooks still claims that his incendiary comments, which resulted in an insurrection on the United States Capitol, were a part of his “congressional duties” . I don’t know about you, but I don’t think calling for people to “start taking down names and kicking ass” is part of a Congressperson’s job!

I did everything I could as a private citizen to hold Mo Brooks and Donald Trump’s other treasonous lackeys accountable and learn the truth about their roles in the attack on the Capitol and our democracy. Now it’s up to the January 6 commission to finish the job — but if Republicans win the House majority this year, the commission won't survive.

We deserve the truth. This country deserves the truth.

The January 6 commission is doing all it can to make sure those responsible pay the price for their actions. But Republicans will do anything they can to stop the investigations into people like Mo Brooks and the other GOP cowards who led the charge.
