[1]Women's March
John, before
there was Roe v. Wade, there was Griswold v. Connecticut.
This landmark case was a huge step forward in gaining control over our own
reproductive rights. The Supreme Court’s ruling declared that states could
not ban the use of contraceptives, and paved the way for the Court’s
historic ruling in Roe v. Wade.
As attacks on our reproductive rights ramp up nationwide, the GOP is
already signaling that, if they can succeed in striking down Roe v. Wade,
then Griswold – and our birth control – will be next.

We have to be prepared for this next wave of extremist attacks against
women on the horizon, so we’re asking Women’s Marchers
in Washington to help us do just that. To fight back against these
attacks, we need to understand exactly how birth control access looks in
communities across our nation.

Make no mistake,
John: the Trump Administration
laid the groundwork for this.
This is why they stacked the Supreme Court with ultra-conservative
justices like Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett. This is why Mitch
McConnell confirmed a record number of conservative judges to courts
across the country. We know they won’t stop at striking down Roe v. Wade
to satisfy their power trip.
They have a coordinated strategy to break down our reproductive rights and
we must fight back together as a movement to stop their cruel, anti-women
plans.
Together, we defeated Trump and ended his cruel administration – but our
work is far from over. To preserve access to birth control and defend our
reproductive rights against their escalating attacks, we need to be one
step ahead of the GOP.
[ [link removed] ]That’s why we’re hoping to hear from you about your experience
accessing birth control in Washington. We'll review each response
and use your feedback to inform Women's March's strategy to protect our
reproductive rights at the local, state, and federal levels.
