Friend, I always love to hear from my constituents – and today, I'd like to tell you about a very special Georgian named Evan, who wrote me this note.
Evan is just 8 years old and has Type 1 diabetes. His family, like millions of others across our country, is often forced to pay exorbitant out-of-pocket costs to get the lifesaving medication he needs to live a healthy life.
No American should ever have to choose between filing a prescription and putting food on the table. That's why I just introduced a bill in the Senate to cap the cost of insulin and lower costs for working families.
This is the note Evan wrote to me. It's an honor to fight for folks like him and his family.
