John,
After years of divisiveness and dysfunction, we finally have the leadership we need to meet the challenges ahead — leadership defined in part by the most diverse Congress in our nation’s history.
As one of the first Korean-American women elected to Congress and the first African-American elected to represent the Pacific Northwest, I am proud to be one of the many “new” voices in Washington.
I am honored to represent the South Puget Sound of Washington state, and I am committed to working with my colleagues and the Biden-Harris administration to heal, unite and rebuild our nation.
Building a truly Democratic government doesn’t start and end with an election. To keep moving forward, it’s critical that we continue to communicate about your values and priorities.
Will you take part in our 2-minute 2022 survey?
Together, I know that we will succeed in developing innovative and much needed solutions to the most urgent challenges we face, including tackling the COVID-19 pandemic, increasing access to affordable healthcare, rebuilding our economy, and restoring faith in our democracy.
Welcome to the team —
Marilyn
