We just found out that Henry Cuellar is hosting several swanky fundraisers in Washington D.C., where lobbyists and corporate PACs will be contributing as much as $5,000 to attend.
While our campaign is working to connect with voters in South Texas, Henry Cuellar is courting lobbyists and corporate PAC checks to replenish his campaign coffers for the runoff election.
Cuellar knows that we have the momentum. Henry Cuellar is scared of our grassroots campaign so he's running to Republican and corporate lobbyists and special interests to fund his campaign for this critical runoff election.
Remember, Henry Cuellar is still under FBI investigation. And one of the hosts of Cuellar’s fundraisers is a lobbyist whom Cuellar has done multiple favors for in Congress. We can’t let him go back to business as usual. We have to make sure that South Texans know that he’s out of touch and selling out to the highest bidder.
