Leon Cooperman (former Goldman Sachs executive, net worth $3.2 billion, charged with insider trading) called Elizabeth Warren “disgraceful,” cursed at her, and cried actual tears on national TV. Joe Ricketts (TD Ameritrade, $2.7 billion) said her wealth tax “would ruin what we have.” And Lloyd Blankfein (current chair of Goldman Sachs, $1.3 billion) said it would be “cataclysmic.”

They’re terrified, John, and for good reason. They know that 74% of Americans support a wealth tax on the super-wealthy. They know their lifetime of pillaging and exploitation could be coming to an end soon. And when they look ahead to 2020, they can see that WE are going to be the ones who make it happen.
