Africa & Europe
Please join us in praying for our IJM Romania team as the conflict in Ukraine continues to escalate. IJM staff and partners are working tirelessly at the Ukrainian-Romanian border to provide vital support that will prevent trafficking as hundreds of refugees cross the border every hour. Pray for the team as they partner with local NGOs to provide safe transport, train agencies on how to identify trafficking and work with authorities to put advice on how to stay safe into passports. Additionally, please join in our continued prayers for all those affected by the situation in Ukraine.
Latin America
Join the Dominican Republic team in prayer as they search for a government partner who can begin to take responsibility for the Service Providers Network. The Service Providers Network is a group of organizations and institutions that are providing legal and psychological care to victims in the Dominican Republic. IJM in the Dominican Republic has served as a leader of this group, however, finding a group to partner with IJM in this responsibility is crucial for the sustained long-term impact of IJM’s work in the Dominican Republic.
South Asia
Pray for our teams as they network with government officials to create new aftercare solutions for survivors. Many government agencies have the resources and scale to offer exciting, innovative programs for survivors of bonded labor as they recover; we simply need to give them a vision of what is possible and God’s favor to take these relationships forward. Pray for open doors in the states where we are working, so that government officials would see how they can play a role in helping families rebuild in strength after being rescued from slavery.
Southeast Asia
Pray for IJM Philippines as they prepare to launch the Third Philippine Internet Crimes Against Children Center (PICACC) Anniversary Celebration on March 20. This event takes considerable time, planning, and coordination between the National Investigations and Law Enforcement Development and Brand, Media, and Communications departments. Pray that the Lord be glorified and for the staff to be encouraged by what the Lord has accomplished as they prepare to move forward into their fourth year!
