Today, we enter week two of the House’s public impeachment hearings. If you need clear-eyed information on impeachment without the spin, The Heritage Foundation has you covered. We just launched a new resource page on Heritage.org that examines the impeachment process from every angle. Also in today’s Agenda: Are there people in your life who are having their opinions of America and our founding shaped by all the wrong sources? We have just the video you can share. Filmed at this year’s President’s Club Meeting, “The Case for Bolstering America’s Founding Principles” is a conversation with top scholars on why the push to portray America’s founding as evil is completely wrong. Lastly, we bring you a new season of our popular “Millennial Myths” podcast. We hope you will tune in to hear what young Americans think about the top policy issues of the day.
What You Need to Know About Impeachment <[link removed]>
As public impeachment hearings continue into their second week, The Heritage Foundation has just made it easier to stay informed
about the entire impeachment process. “The United States is currently experiencing an ‘impeachment frenzy,’ with political activists, commentators, and members of Congress debating whether, when, and why to pursue impeachment,” says Thomas Jipping, deputy director of Heritage’s Meese Center for Legal and Judicial Studies. “And the discussion and debate about impeachment are plagued with confusion over this rarely exercised procedure.” Find everything you need to know about the process and history of impeachment, and how it applies to the House of Representatives’ impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump on Heritage's impeachment resource page <[link removed]>. You can find out more about Heritage Action’s advocacy efforts on impeachment on its impeachment toolkit page <[link removed]>.

Heritage’s newly established Edwin J. Feulner Institute convened an inspiring discussion with world-renowned scholars about America’s founding principles—and the need to defend them—at this year’s President’s Club Meeting. Led by the Feulner Institute’s Angela Sailor, the scholars included professors James Ceaser, Allen Guelzo, and Melissa Moschella. “There is a rhetoric out there that this country isn't what it says it is or what it was founded to be. But like you, The Heritage Foundation says that that is absolutely ridiculous, and we don't believe it for one minute,” said Sailor as she introduced the session. Watch scholars discuss topics like American exceptionalism and the New York Times’ controversial 1619 Project <[link removed]>.
