John --
It’s a busy time at the Republican Party of Wisconsin! We are excited to be approaching our annual state convention on May 20-22, as well as local elections on April 5!
These past two years have reminded us just how important our local elected officials are. From divisive curriculum in our schools to extended mask mandates, it’s time to stand up and fight back against far-left policies in our communities. If you are interested in volunteering to support local conservative candidates, there is still time to sign up on our website here <[link removed]>.
As always, thanks for all you do!

This week, the Republican Party of Wisconsin mourns the loss of Lieutenant Governor Margaret Farrow, who served as Wisconsin’s first female lieutenant governor and previously served in the State Assembly and Senate. Lieutenant Governor Farrow was a staunch conservative and a trailblazer for women in politics, and she will be dearly missed. We ask that you join us in prayer for her family, including her son Chairman Paul Farrow. You can read her obituary here <[link removed]>. An article in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel looking back at her life can be found here <[link removed]>.
MacIver Institute is exposing the far-left policies of Mandela Barnes that the mainstream media won’t report. In addition to his abysmal record on crime and radical environmental policies that would hurt Wisconsin farmers and workers, Barnes’ hypocrisy is on full display on issues like education – including his opposition to school choice, despite the fact that he attended a private school. You can read more here <[link removed]>.
Don’t forget to sign up here <[link removed]> for our room block at our 2022 State Convention in Middleton from May 20-22! Rooms are still available at the Madison Marriott West.
This week, Republicans appealed Tony Evers’ gerrymandered maps that were recently adopted by the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Evers’ maps received criticism <[link removed]> by members of his own party for his efforts to dilute minority votes – hurting communities of interest that are protected under the Voting Rights Act. Meanwhile, these maps combine the districts of Republican incumbents and move leaders like Senator Dale Kooyenga out of his district. It’s the kind of result expected from maps that were drawn in secret and without public input, after he spent years railing against such a process. WATCH: Tony Evers Blows Off Crime Victims, Dodges Stance on Cash Bail <[link removed]>
Amid historic violence in Milwaukee and across the state, Tony Evers is dismissing victims of crime and refusing to answer questions on cash bail. Last week, Evers referenced his “busy schedule” when telling WKOW’s Capital City Sunday that he can’t recall meeting with crime victims – and in the same breath dodged questions on whether he agrees with Mandela Barnes’ mission to abolish cash bail across the country.
WisGOP Statement on Joe Biden in Superior <[link removed]>
Joe Biden’s public relations stop in Superior only exemplifies why his approval ratings are plummeting – he’s too busy planning photo-ops to focus on the issues that matter. Amid his attacks on mining, threats to pipelines like Line 5 and halting of Keystone XL, and failure to continue American energy independence, no amount of photo-ops will stop rural Wisconsinites from leaving the Democrat Party in droves.
Mandela Barnes Struggles to Name Accomplishments <[link removed]>
Mandela Barnes is still leaving much to be desired with his qualifications for the U.S. Senate. Despite the fact that Barnes touts his experience as chairman of Tony Evers’ Climate Change Task Force, at a recent event, Barnes couldn’t name a single task force proposal that has been implemented – a reminder of the reality that Barnes has actually accomplished next to nothing.
