We've had a lot of big news this week. Between the California Democratic Party endorsement, record-breaking fundraising numbers, and a whole lot of Blue Wave energy, we're optimistic as ever that Christy's got the momentum to win BIG in November in this toss-up seat.
And one thing we know for sure is Mike Garcia must be shaking in his boots.
Because while Christy continues to build grassroots support by listening to the needs of folks in her district, Mike is wasting all his time courting wealthy donors and corporate campaign contributors, insurrectionists, and would-be dictators.
Mike continues to show the people of this district that he's out of touch and unfit to lead. He opposed the American Rescue Plan, the Infrastructure Bill, and every single investment aimed at getting Americans back on their feet.
And who can forget when he called the January 6th violent insurrection on the Capitol "legitimate political discourse?"
Mike Garcia isn't the moderate he claims to be. In an election where he only won by 333 votes, we'd be nervous if we were Mike too.
But this campaign isn't about Mike Garcia because this election isn't about him – it's about delivering for the working people of this district.
It's about investing in our communities, schools, and people so everyone has a chance to succeed.
Unfortunately, the thing standing in the way of real change for working people of the district is Mike Garcia. The thing standing in the way of bold, transformational change in this country is the Republican Party.
