Thanksgiving at the Center Join us from Monday, November 25, through Wednesday, November 27, and Friday, November 29, through Sunday, December 1, for engaging Thanksgiving Day programming. Come to our History of Thanksgiving program to explore the Wampanoag culture and the impact they had on the holiday, the events leading up to the harvest feast that year, and what food they would have eaten. During the Thanksgiving: Deconstructing the Myth program, join a member of the Center’s Education staff to deconstruct images of Thanksgiving from different periods of our country’s history and unravel some of the myths surrounding the holiday.
