When I decided to run for Congress to represent my home district here in Omaha, I knew it wouldn’t be easy. Running a successful campaign takes a lot of resources, and those resources require a lot of investment. I’m an everyday person — I don’t have access to a personal network of wealthy donors, and I’ve pledged not to accept a dime of corporate PAC money.
