Today is the deadline to file a declaration of candidacy here in California, and we’re so excited to announce that Barbara has officially filed her paperwork to run for re-election!

As we’ve mentioned before, this year will mark the start of a new challenge for Barbara. For the first time, she’ll be running in California’s 12th congressional district — a newly drawn district encompassing many of the East Bay communities she has represented for years.

Now that Barbara’s officially on the path to re-election, it’s time to kick our campaign into high gear. To build momentum after the filing deadline, we’re setting a flash goal of raising $12,000 in the next few days to help launch our campaign.
