LGBT adults in California face gaps in health care access
A new report by the Williams Institute in partnership with UCLA’s Center for Health Policy Research finds that LGBT adults in California face significant barriers in accessing health care despite having similar or better rates of health insurance coverage than heterosexual or cisgender adults. Bisexual women and transgender adults, in particular, have difficulty finding providers and getting needed health care.
