The student debt crisis has reached $1,886,834,524,720, and yet too many Democrats are still silent on this nearly 2 trillion dollar problem. Democrats should be advocating for canceling every single penny of federal student loan debt.
The numbers are clear: Millions of people in America are held back by mountains of student debt. The $1.8 trillion of student loan debt deepens the racial and class divide in this country and the struggle felt by so many households.
If our politicians aren’t willing to take action to cancel student loan debt, they should be primaried by someone who will. If you agree, will you sign on to our petition? We need to send a powerful message to Democrats that Americans demand relief now!

Student loan interest has been on hold the last two years — but the federal government hasn’t forgiven it. That means that over 40 million Americans will owe thousands of dollars in back pay when payments resume in May.
Canceling student loan debt will help the economy AND provide hope to young people across this nation. Yet Democrats have failed to take any concrete action to cancel student loan payments.
