Research shows that when women are involved in environmental conservation work, they tend to look at the problem differently. The result? Increased likelihood for success and solidarity.

What better way to honor Women’s History Month than to give the incredible women making history in their own fields the opportunity to pave the way toward a brighter, more sustainable future? I am proud to be working alongside a team of these inspiring change-makers to select the finalists for the TOM FORD Plastic Innovation Prize [[link removed]]. Each of these women brought a unique perspective to reviewing the submissions, which was crucial in selecting the 8 finalists that will be revealed on March 22nd ( register here for an exclusive first look! [[link removed]]).

We are all so inspired by the sheer number of innovations across the world, many of which are led by female teams and founders, each working to solve the issue of thin-plastic film. It is no surprise then that more than half of the finalists of the TOM FORD Plastic Innovation Prize are companies led by women.
