Hawaii’s largest union, the Hawaii Government Employees Association, yesterday announced its support for Dr. Josh Green for Governor.
 
In a statement, HGEA Executive Director Randy Perreira said:

"Josh Green is the right person to lead our state in its recovery from the pandemic, and we look forward to working with him to make Hawaii a place where our middle class will thrive"

Throughout the COVID pandemic, HGEA members showed up every day to keep our state running. Thanks to their work and commitment, we are emerging with one of the lowest infection and mortality rates in the country.

Building more affordable housing across our state

Addressing the high cost of living

Taking on the homeless crisis

Finally passing a true living wage and paid family leave into law
