We can’t believe what we are typing right now, but Ron DeSantis is actually considering SIGNING Florida Republicans “Don’t Say Gay” bill.
WHAT THIS IS: If you haven’t heard about this yet – it’s basically a bill that BANS talking about anything relating to the LGBTQ+ in public schools. The Florida House passed it this week thanks to a GOP Majority!
WHY IT’S BAD: It will erase fundamental civil rights history from the classroom and further teach kids that being different isn’t okay. It’s just one of many GOP attacks on the LGBTQ community across the nation.
