When Kamala and I took office, we promised that we would grow the economy from the bottom up and the middle out. That was the basis of the American Rescue Plan: to give the middle class -- the backbone of this nation -- a little bit of breathing room.
Since I signed this landmark legislation into law one year ago, I’ve gotten to hear directly from the American people about how it is making a real difference in their lives.
It’s the small business owners who were able to keep their doors open and their staff on payroll. It’s the teachers who have been able to safely return to the classroom with their students. And it’s the millions of folks across the country who were able to get fully vaccinated sooner than expected.
It’s possible to get big, important things like the American Rescue Plan done, but we can’t rest on our laurels. We have much more work to do to build a better America.
Can I count on you to chip in $7 to the DNC today? Anything you’re able to pitch in will help elect Democrats up and down the ballot who are committed to building on the progress we’ve made so far.
There’s not a single thing America cannot do when we do it together. I know we’ll be able to accomplish even more over the next few years with a bigger team of Democrats fighting by Kamala’s and my side -- and the DNC is crucial to that effort.
Losing just one seat in the Senate and five in the House could halt all of the progress we’ve made so far -- not to mention determine whether or not we can enact the rest of Kamala’s and my agenda. As much as I hate asking for money, the only way that we’re going to be able to protect and expand our majorities this year is if we give this our all.
Will you donate $7 to the DNC today? Whatever you’re able to give will go a long way in electing more Democrats ready to build on the progress we’ve made so far.
Thank you for being a part of this team,
Joe
