Friend,
If you’ve been following AU’s work, then you probably know that we're headed to the U.S. Supreme Court in April to argue the Kennedy v. Bremerton School District case, in which a former assistant football coach at a public high school in Washington State sued the school district, insisting that he had a right to pray with players and other students at the 50-yard line after games.
The stakes are high in this case and opponents of church-state separation are spreading misinformation about the facts – that’s why we're hosting a special virtual briefing on Tuesday, March 22nd, for all AU members & supporters to learn more about the case and what you can do to help. I hope you’ll join us!
AU @ SCOTUS:
Kennedy v. Bremerton Case Briefing
Tuesday, March 22
7:30 pm Eastern / 4:30 pm Pacific

During this virtual briefing, you'll hear from Alex Bodaken, AU’s Steven Gey Constitutional Litigation Fellow, who is a part of the legal team representing the Bremerton School District. He'll walk us through the case, tell us just what's at stake, and answer questions. We’ll also be joined by our CEO Rachel Laser and a member of the local Bremerton community who will share thoughts about the case.
You’ll also learn how you can help us push back against the deceitful narrative that has been spun by the coach's attorneys in this case. While our attorneys will argue the case in the Court, you can help us argue it in the court of public opinion.
Please register to join us on Tuesday, March 22, at 7:30 pm Eastern / 4:30 pm Pacific.

I hope you will be there.
