Texas Governor Greg Abbott is abusing his power by attacking our voting rights, a woman’s right to make health care decisions, and he just signed a new law to encourage hatred towards LGBTQ communities.
His campaign’s excuse? It polls well with conservative voters.
These aren’t the actions of a ‘small government conservative’.
I'm exhausted. Instead of fixing the power grid and helping Texans recover from the pandemic, Governor Abbott would rather attack the foundation of our democracy.
And for what, political gain? It’s unworthy. I will always stand up to push back, but I can’t do it alone.
